Winform Xt 2.0 is an amazing material.
It can be used in the SLS (selective laser sintering) process. Because of that, the material can also incorporate the benefits of that method. SLS prints tend to be very strong (especially on the Z axis), are able to be printed without supports, and are less susceptible to UV degradation.
When you add a great material like Windform XT 2.0 you’re turning SLS up to 11.
Windform XT 2.0 is the “go to” material for large public installations like amusement parks. It is denser than traditional 3d printed material. It has an unmatched tensile strength of 83.84 Mpa. That is double traditional SLS materials. It is stiffer and has less distortion at break.
The Windform product line lends itself well to Aerospace (UAV structures, small satellites, and spacecraft components), Windform XT 2.0, Windform SP, Windform LX 2.0 and Windform GT have passed outgassing tests that have been carried out at NASA. Windform materials have passed the ASTM E-595-07 Standard.
